On June 18, 2025, Tokyo time, the first "Home in China · Tokyo Tower Forum" with the theme of "Green Development Concepts Building the Future Society" was successfully held. This event was organized by the Organizing Committee of the Home in China Cultural and Economic Exchange Conference, co-organized by the Tokyo Tower Lights Up Red for China Committee, Cloud River Urban Research Institute, and the Japan-China Economic and Cultural Exchange Center. The event invited representatives from the political, academic, business, art, media circles, Chinese university alumni associations in Japan, friendly groups towards China, and overseas Chinese communities from both China and Japan to attend. Before the event began, Wang Xinwei, the governor of Liaoning Province who was visiting Japan at the time, had a discussion and exchange with some of the Chinese and Japanese participants.

This event focused on high-quality dialogues around deepening cultural exchanges between China and Japan, harmonious coexistence, green concepts, educational development, and urban construction, building a bridge and a bond for cultural and economic exchanges and cooperation between the people of China and Japan.

Guo Jun, the Education Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, attended the event and delivered a speech. In his speech, he said that the successful holding of the "Home in China • Tokyo Tower Forum" was of great significance. It was like an invisible bridge, closely connecting Chinese compatriots in Japan and Japanese friends who care about and love China.

Former Vice Minister of the Environment of Japan and Chairman of the General Incorporated Foundation 3000 Future Conference, Nakai Tokutaro, and Chairman of the Japan-China Economic and Cultural Exchange Center and President of the Japan Alumni Association of Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Ma Xiaoping, delivered speeches respectively.

Yan An, the chairperson of the Tokyo Tower Lights Up Red for China Committee, Lin Huichun, a professor at the One Belt and One Road Institute of Beijing Normal University and a specially-appointed professor at the Institute of Management Engineering Project of Tsinghua University, Tetsuji Nagata, vice president of the Tokyo Metropolitan Association for China-Japan Friendship, and Liu Yujin, president of the Japan-China Care Association, delivered speeches at the dinner.

The "Home in China · Tokyo Tower Forum" concluded successfully. The theme of the forum was perfectly integrated with the concept of "Harmony and Coexistence, Beauty in Diversity" advocated by Home in China. Guests from all walks of life joined hands to write a new chapter of win-win cooperation in people-to-people diplomacy between China and Japan. In the future, Home in China will continue to visit cities such as Zhuhai, Rome, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Paris, and Munich, connecting Chinese overseas and international friends to jointly tell the Chinese story and contribute to promoting world harmony, peace, and sustainable development.
